Patient safety is part of how the clinic runs day to day. Every instrument, every surface, every protocol is designed to protect you.
Why this matters
Dental treatment involves close contact with saliva, blood, and oral tissues, making infection control one of the most critical aspects of dental care. At Dr Sanjay Kumar's Dental Clinic, we do not cut corners. Our protocols meet or exceed the guidelines set by the Dental Council of India and the Indian Dental Association.
We have always maintained these standards, not just during the pandemic, but every day for every patient for over 31 years.
Autoclave Sterilization
All reusable instruments are cleaned, packaged, and sterilised in a medical-grade autoclave after every patient. Autoclave kills all bacteria, viruses, and spores, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV.
Single-Use Disposables
Needles, saliva ejectors, impression trays, and surgical drapes are single-use only. They are disposed of in sealed medical waste containers after each patient, never reused.
Surface Disinfection
The dental chair, countertops, handles, and all contact surfaces are wiped down with hospital-grade disinfectant between every patient. Barrier covers are replaced for each appointment.
PPE for All Staff
Our dentists and assistants wear gloves, masks, protective eyewear, and aprons for every procedure. PPE is changed between every patient, no exceptions.
Hand Hygiene
Hand sanitiser is available at the clinic entrance and at every treatment station. Staff follow the WHO five moments of hand hygiene protocol.
Appointment Spacing
Appointments are scheduled with adequate gaps to allow thorough cleaning and preparation between patients. You will never be rushed into a chair that was not properly sanitised.
What we ask of you
A few simple things that help us keep everyone safe.
Arrive on time, not early. This minimises overlap with other patients and gives us time to prepare your room.
Use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance before proceeding to the treatment area.
Inform us before your appointment if you have any contagious condition, cold, flu, or any infection.
Follow any post-treatment care instructions we give you. They help prevent infection after your procedure.
