What can veneers fix?
Veneers are one of the most versatile treatments in cosmetic dentistry. Here is what they can correct, often in just two visits.
Chipped or worn teeth
Restore teeth damaged by wear, grinding, or injury
Gaps between teeth
Close spaces without years of braces
Discoloured teeth
Cover stains that whitening cannot fix
Misshapen teeth
Reshape teeth that are too small, pointed, or uneven
Slightly crooked teeth
Instant straightening without orthodontics
Gummy smile
Combine with laser gum contouring for perfect proportions
Types of veneers we offer
Not all veneers are the same. Dr. Kumar will recommend the right type based on your teeth, bite, lifestyle, and budget.
Porcelain Veneers
The gold standard. Ultra-thin shells of medical-grade ceramic bonded to the front of your teeth. Natural translucency, stain-resistant, and last 15+ years with proper care.
Best for: Complete smile transformations
Prepless Veneers
No drilling, no enamel removal. Contact-lens-thin veneers bonded directly to your teeth. Reversible and completely painless, the most conservative option.
Best for: Patients who want zero tooth reduction
Zirconia Veneers
Maximum strength and durability. Zirconia veneers are virtually unbreakable and ideal for patients who grind their teeth or need extra strength in their restorations.
Best for: Patients with bruxism or heavy bite
Composite Veneers
A more affordable option using tooth-coloured composite resin. Applied in a single visit, easily repairable, but less durable than porcelain and may stain over time.
Best for: Budget-conscious patients or minor corrections

Why choose a prosthodontist for veneers?
Not all veneer providers are equal.
Specialist Training
A prosthodontist spends 3 additional years after dental school specialising in tooth aesthetics, bite function, and smile restoration. General dentists do not have this training.
Bite & function expertise
Veneers that look beautiful but do not fit your bite will chip, crack, or fail. Dr. Kumar designs veneers that work with your bite, so they last for decades, not years.
Digital Precision
Dr. Kumar uses Digital Smile Design software to plan every veneer to your facial proportions. You see the result before treatment, no guessing, no surprises.
Premium lab & materials
Your veneers are crafted by DentCare Dental Lab, India's largest and most advanced dental lab, using premium porcelain and zirconia from global brands like Ivoclar Vivadent and 3M ESPE.
The veneer process, step by step
From consultation to your new smile in 2 visits over 1-2 weeks. No surprises. You approve everything before we begin.
Smile Consultation
Dr. Kumar examines your teeth, discusses your goals, and assesses whether veneers are right for you. Honest advice. If you do not need veneers, he will tell you.
Digital Smile Design
Photographs and measurements are fed into DSD software. You see a digital preview of your new smile on screen, before any treatment begins.
Mock-Up & Trial
A temporary mock-up is placed in your mouth so you can see your new smile in the mirror. Adjustments are made until you love it.
Veneer Placement
Minimal tooth preparation (if any), then your custom veneers are bonded with precision. Most cases completed in 2 visits over 1-2 weeks.

Understanding veneer costs
We believe in transparency. Here's what influences the cost of your veneer treatment, so you can make an informed decision.
What determines the cost
- Veneer type, Porcelain is the premium option; composite is more affordable
- Number of teeth, Some smiles need 2 veneers, others need 10+
- Lab and materials, We use DentCare Lab and premium brands (Ivoclar, 3M ESPE)
- Complexity, Bite corrections, gum contouring, or extractions add to the treatment
Why we don't publish prices online
Every smile is unique. Publishing a single price would be misleading, your cost depends on your teeth, your goals, and the number of veneers you actually need (not the number we can sell you).
What we can say: your estimate depends on the factors above, and we will give you a written one before any treatment begins. International patients typically find treatment here costs substantially less than equivalent care in the US, UK, or Australia, using the same materials.
Get a personalised estimate on WhatsAppSmile assessment on WhatsApp, send a photo and Dr. Kumar will tell you honestly how many veneers you need and an estimated cost range. No clinic visit required.
Veneers vs other options

Making your veneers last
Veneers are an investment in your smile. With the right care, they'll last 15-20+ years. Here's how to protect them.
Do
- Brush twice daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and non-abrasive toothpaste
- Floss daily, veneers can still get cavies at the gumline
- Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth (we'll custom-make one for you)
- Visit us every 6 months for check-ups and professional cleaning
- Use a sports mouthguard during contact sports
Avoid
- Biting on hard objects, ice, pens, fingernails, bottle caps
- Using your teeth as tools, opening packages, tearing tape
- Abrasive whitening toothpastes, which can scratch the veneer surface
- Excessive consumption of staining foods (composite veneers only, porcelain is stain-resistant)
- Skipping dental check-ups, small issues can become big problems
Free first check-up after veneers, we'll inspect your veneers, polish them, and make sure your bite is perfect. Your investment is protected.
Veneer FAQs
Everything you probably want to know.
How much do veneers cost?
The cost depends on the type of veneer (porcelain, prepless, zirconia, or composite), the number of teeth involved, and the complexity of your case. We do not publish prices online because every smile is unique. Send us your photos on WhatsApp and we will give you a personalised estimate, no obligation.
Are veneers permanent?
Porcelain and zirconia veneers are considered a permanent treatment because a thin layer of enamel is removed to accommodate them. Prepless veneers require no enamel removal and are essentially reversible. We will discuss which option is best for your situation during your consultation.
How long do veneers last?
Porcelain veneers typically last 15-20+ years with proper care. Zirconia veneers can last even longer. Composite veneers last 5-7 years. Good oral hygiene, regular check-ups, and wearing a night guard if you grind your teeth will maximise the lifespan of your veneers.
Do veneers look natural?
Absolutely. Modern porcelain veneers are ultra-thin and translucent, mimicking the natural light-reflecting properties of real tooth enamel. Dr. Kumar uses Digital Smile Design to ensure your veneers match your facial proportions, skin tone, and personality, so they look like your teeth, only better.
Will my veneers stain?
Porcelain and zirconia veneers are highly stain-resistant and will not discolour from coffee, tea, wine, or smoking. Composite veneers are more susceptible to staining over time and may need polishing or replacement sooner.
Can I get veneers if I grind my teeth?
Yes, but you will need a night guard to protect your veneers. For heavy grinders, we may recommend zirconia veneers for their superior strength. Dr. Kumar will assess your bite and advise the best option.
How many veneers do I need?
It depends on your goals. Some patients need just 2-4 veneers to fix specific teeth, while others want a full smile makeover with 8-10 veneers. Dr. Kumar will show you different options during your consultation so you can choose what fits your budget and goals.
